So in this universe I’m assuming that Detective Pikachu is on the trail of the killer of not only Ash and Misty, but also Jesse, James, and Meowth. Trying desperately to figure out who set them up, just after Team Rocket had declared a truce.

I have never seen a single episode of the show, so I dunno if that even makes sense.
