Oh yeah, then she can subpoena EVERYTHING!

Why does MAGA condone raping children and love pedophiles? I’m just asking questions.

Reading the article then doing the oul’ internet search, “the jury did not find Trump liable for rape and instead found him liable for a lesser degree of sexual abuse”. (Wikipedia link).

AOC would surely fight this in court instead of rolling over like ABC did. Not sure that would be something Trump would like, especially if she wins.

That’s a technical definition, not yeh publicly accepted definition. He did it. They just had to use a differently worded charge. He’s guilty and should have never have been allowed on the ticket.

But, then there is this article:

      https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/07/19/trump-carroll-judge-rape/

“The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape,’ ” Kaplan wrote.

He added: “Indeed, as the evidence at trial recounted below makes clear, the jury found that Mr. Trump in fact did exactly that.”

Worth noting that in many jurisdictions this “lesser crime” would just be called rape. Hell in most jurisdictions I’ve heard of, it’s sexual assault or something like that. There are a bunch of crimes that fall under the heading “rape”.

So if Trump did what he did in your home town, he would be a rapist. Why would the same act done elsewhere by treated as less serious.

That being said, I’m all for calling Trump a convicted sexual abuser, because that sounds even worse and I’d love to see him defend it with “of an adult. I only abused an adult.”

Because that’s how state’s rights work. They’re allowed to set their own laws and punishments for things.

She could go one step further and try to convince a jury that he is in fact a rapist based on the evidence in the previous case. Different jury, maybe a different outcome. It’s a roll of the dice I don’t think he’d be willing to take.

edit: Fuckin’ hilarious though that they’re raging with the logic of “HE’S ONLY A SEXUAL ABUSER!!!” hahahahaha.
