If a government wants to vaporize a civilian population, all they have to do is pretend there are enemy combatants hiding amongst them “using them as human shields” and “we can’t let them think that works or they’ll do it more”. Funny how they always keep doing it anyway though. It’s almost as if it doesn’t matter whether it’s actually happening or not and brutal fascist regimes will pulp children and parents alike into chunky salsa irrespective of their claims’ validity. Huh. Really makes ya think.

here in the 'states, people always reflexively bark “but you can criticize the government here without being thrown in jail or executed” and yet that statement is becoming shakier and shakier by the DAY. The US government has detained and attempted to disappear legal residents for criticizing the regime, and It’s starting to look terrifyingly possible that they’ll soon do that to full-fledged CITIZENS TOO.

it’s a shame that when scum fights scum there are so many innocent civilians who will suffer. there are no good guys in this. A little bully with rich parents picked a fight with a big bully and everything that can come out of this will suck.
