This is a prime example of democrats having useless identity politics where they address problems by brow-beating people and calling them racist, rather than doing anything for their citizens.
You take a moment to look at some unbiased vlogging on the US/Mexico border and tell me it was problem-free.
Otherwise you can read about the hotels being turned into expensive migrant refuges, which I’ve seen reported about across the country. The government was paying for that, for non-citizens, during an ongoing homelessness crisis.
