Clearly you have never played a Ubisoft game from the last decade. :P
Probably not in last 15 years or so.
And yet there are many games that despite offering offline play still require an internet connection or require online download.
That’s on you if you agree to log in to play a game you already paid for
“Enshittification is the consumers fault” is one way to see it but I’d rather put the blame on other parties, like the ones actually making the decision.
Not much today, at least not with the expensive / interesting stuff. And you’ll have to live with the bugs and crashes, as nobody will fix the betas they are selling as products today.
Depends how you define interesting. Out of all the games I have there is just one where I must have an Internet connection to play. Others only need it to update.
