I had an idea for a different twist on it based on your description

It’s 3 panels of a sawtooth going directly right like ////\ with the magat at the bottom center commenting on each part

But then the last panel has the magat in the lower left, revealing the sawtooth had a downward trajectory the whole time.

Hopefully that makes sense because I can’t draw lol
