It’s fair to say that overall american history still notes the atrocities that say the US forced on the Native Americans. or say Asian Americans in WW2 etc… Of course that’s also because the US kept a free press so far. With enough corporate or government control of the press, it’s very likely “patriotic history” will replace objective history.
