In whatever country, whatever most controversial political option there would be the one kids pick.
It’s wild that communism is more controversial in America than fascism.
Communism was the system used* by the US’s primary geopolitical opponent for generations as well as its current economic rival. Meanwhile fascism is/was considered a long-dead ideology by most (American education doesn’t really focus on things like Francoist Spain), even while support for it among the capitalist elite has been quietly simmering in the background since the 1930s if not earlier.
*Nominally, but let’s not get into that.
In the next post: School launches slander campaigns of other schools that did transition to communism with various rumors including falsified “playground genocides” and “lunchroom dictatorships”
Well of course it’s only real genocide when done by a socialist country. Under capitalism, it’s just sparkling ethnic cleansing.
