Interesting how this seems to happen every single time there’s a large gathering of Republicans.

You don’t understand that criticizing hypocrisy is not the hypocritical part?

The criticism is not that they go on grinder. It is that they go in grinder while being publicly homophobic.

But these are the people trying to take away the right to be gay. You don’t get to hide in the closet, have your secret gay hookups, and then turn around and say gay people don’t deserve the right to marry and trans people don’t deserve basic human decency and respect. No one is forcing them to be a Republican but themselves. Hell, you still be a Republican and be gay, the log cabin Republicans are a thing. But they alone are not the ones causing this spike in Grindr usage.

The idea that we should just let this kind of shit slide where it’s only ok if you do it in secret is beyond idiotic. It’s only bad if you are open about your homosexuality apparently.

    • Some gay people are welcome, but some gay people are more welcome than others.

I would imagine it would be the ideal situation to talk about differences between US tribals.

But virtue signaling behind a device is much more easy.

To use an metaphore for the tribals who need it:

“Nazi Germany wouldn’t have fallen if it were also not because of the many defectors, collaboraters and spies from inside Nazi Germany”
