I do love the American inclination to roll out a 250 year old piece of literature, stare down the barrel of a gun, and announce “You can’t do that it’s against the rules”.
The Founding Fathers were violating provisions of the Constitution practically before the ink was dry.
But hey, maybe this is the moment when waving a big copy of the seven original commandments of Animal Farm and shouting “Four Legs are supposed to be good, actually!” will fix the problem.

The only time that any of these rules are enforced is when the people with money hire their expensive lawyers to ensure it’s enforced.
When they break the rules against the poors, nobody has enough money to fight with their fancy pants lawyers.
They get “justice” and we get whatever they give us.
Nothing has changed.
