It means Trump can fire the Chair, at least until the decision. If it goes against him, the Chair is reinstated. It’s a stupid decision since Trump doesn’t apparently have the legal authority to do it in the first place, but it’s similar to an injunction where the court decides that until a final ruling is made, it’s in the government’s interest to allow the act to continue.
First off I absolutely disagree with the decision 100%, but that’s not exactly what it said. What it said was that race could be taken into account among other things like location, employment type, etc. The result is the same of course, people being disappeared off the street for being brown. I just don’t like dishonest reporting.
