Tony Abbott and Scott Morrison (two of the shittest cunts in Australian politics) deliberately gutted the ABC and fucked with its independence, because they couldn’t handle the legitimate criticisms of their stupidity and incompetence

It’s not that this journalist was some saint, but the axing was delivered as a sign of bending the knee

The Labor government hasn’t been able to unfuck the many years of bullshit that happened yet, and the cuts were so deep that things may never go back to the way they were

It’s hard to argue given their trajectory

The reality is that if China stops supplying the world with stuff, we’re fucked

The entire world relies on China’s cheap and available “stuff”, and it encompasses everything

They have economic power, they have soft political power and have been pumping money into Africa and the pacific

They have harder political power in Asia

The have enormous military power

They have abundant resources

They already have the world by the balls, but it’s unpleasant for most people to acknowledge it

Our state broadcaster is bound by a charter of independence, and only reports facts

The majority of the other broadcasters spray around some populist bullshit, but nothing remotely like the absolute crap that passes for news in the US

There’s one seriously right-wing outlet, unsurprisingly it’s Murdoch’s baby, but it’s widely disregarded

Unfortunately, he pays for it to be pumped out for free to the rursk/hick areas, whereas in the cities, it comes for a price

All in all, while it’s not perfect, Australia has better media than the US

But so does almost everywhere…

It’s so lovely to hear that he’s unhappy!

The residents can choose whether or not they want to live in Palestine, Syria etc. rather than Israel. International watchdogs can ensure that the residents of their new countries aren’t being shat on, but their unpopularity is entirely of their own making

The first war with Iraq was never about Iraq. Kuwait was drilling into Iraqi fields, but the US wanted a reason to move in. If Kuwait grew carrots, they would have let Iraq destroy them. They wanted to get into Iran, and Iraq was the first step

The US backed Iraq in the Iran-Iraq war, and were being shot at by their own weapons. This came as a surprise to the many people who have no idea of how the US has interfered in the middle-east

Then the second invasion, because of something that happened because of the Saudis, in other countries… Of course, the US backed the Mujahadeen, who went on to become the Taliban, because they were embroiled in a proxy war with the USSR.

Iran has been the goal for a long time, because of the power they used to wield, and obviously because of their huge oil reserves

America keeps stirring the pot so that a few rich cunts can get richer, without a moment of hesitation at the fact that that profit is going to cost lives.

The lives of the locals, the lives of the troops sent to fight for oil companies. This isn’t even seen as a price of making money, because to those doing this shit, those lives are without value, so their is no cost

American, Iraqi, Iranian, they don’t care who dies, so long as they are making money

He hates institutions of learning, and he hates anyone who isn’t himself or the daughter he wants to fuck
