Basically… my reaction to hearing the good word of Atheism was to cling to New Age as hard as possible and believe the Skeptics were just miserable and calling anything inconvenient to their beliefs “Psuedoscience”

That lasted… a while… thankfully I’m not on the Spirit Science train anymlre

Now I’m a Buddhist and am learning to be cool with the temporary nature of existence and am looking forward to rebirth in the Pure Land.

The Problem with New Atheism is that humans need hope and hope isn’t something Dawkins offers.

“It’s my turn.” was everything wrong with Hillary’s campaign in a nut shell.

How the fuck are you able to make yourself look like an unhinged ego-maniac who just wants to be President for the sake of being President, when you’re running against Trump? That shouldn’t be possible.

That’s not how America works. Only Democrats and Republicans can actually get elected at the level AOC plays at, because the electoral college only recognizes Democrats and Republicans.

I seriously had a Right-Wing friend of mine try to tell me that

It’s not going to tear your arm off to put biologically accurate data onto government documents.” Stat Boosting Spell Card he threw down when I pointed out that Trump was ordering people to put M’s on Transwomen’s documentation

I’d never been more insulted in my life. Bro had no clue he was legitimately saying the modern version of “Look the Government just needs to know your background, wearing that Star of David in public isn’t going to get you killed.”

Thankfully he was willing to listen when I pointed that goof out to him… He’s still a Right Winger who’s now willing to walk back his statements in favor of “Agree to disagree”

I love my friend and I’d stand up if his rights were being violated, I’m just horrified to realize he absolutely will not show me the same decency.

I mean that sounds like fraud to me, is there a form of malpractice that applies to Legal cases? Like a lawyer version of medical malpractice.
