I’m sure artificially lowering female med student’s grades to increase drop-outs amoung women will help with the financial stability and job security needed to raise a child!

Which makes sense. You get only one shot at life. So being more sensitive to negative bias could be an advantage to the individual.

One positive note. Almost evey generation had to deal with stuff getting worse. Be it (cold) war or famine. People still survived by fighting.
