There’s no new evidence presented. “He’s an anarchist” has nothing to do with him being an idiot. He got people killed because of his own stupidity and recklessness, and he’s going to go to prison for that. Because self defense laws consider if your actions were reasonable given he situation as you perceived it, and the peacekeepers actions were perfectly reasonable, given the threats against the protest, and this idiots actions.

That’s my point, thanks for missing it. None of us were, and we’re all basing what we know on two short videos totaling less than thirty seconds, and the witness accounts of people who were there. Saying “that’s literally fake news” is bullshit, because none of you know anything that I don’t know. The difference is that some of you have decided he’s innocent of being a fucking moron based on nothing more than his political affiliation.

It’s wild to me that people yesterday were all over this guy when they thought he was some right-wing terrorist, but now that he’s a leftist, his actions are suddenly OK and he’s a victim.

So some rookie sees a guy peacefully walking around with an AR-15 and starts blasting?

There was literally a nationwide manhunt by federal and state law enforcement for a man who assassinated two democrats and plotted to attack the No Kings protests going on at that exact moment, and you think it’s unreasonable someone attending those protests feared enough for their safety, and the safety of others around them, attempted to stop what they might have assumed was the start of a mass shooting by right-wing terrorists? He ducked into an alleyway and got a gun, and you’re gonna sit there and say yeah, that’s not suspicious given the threats from MAGA and Trump?
