There are cops outside America too. Some of them are quite decent people, as well as good police officers.

America’s cop problem is fixable. It just requires Americans to fix it.

Ironically, this is (partially) why government social support services originally started in England. Back in the Victorian period, the rich realised it was cheaper to pay a bit more tax to keep the poor fed, than pay for security to stop them being robbed. It was also cheaper than locking them all up.

I know that good cops, in the UK apparently love the cameras etc. They make their job a lot simpler. It also lets them filter out bad officers. They make everyone’s life harder, and so they want them either gone, or retrained.
