This implies Harvard somehow makes a profit. I’m pretty sure Harvard’s accountants can show they have nothing to pay taxes on even with a large endowment, and especially if they are funding research formerly supported by the federal government. Also property taxes are not collected by the feds, so I’m also pretty sure they still won’t pay property taxes. They don’t really have shareholders to worry about. I think this is just Trump being clueless again.

You can’t claim cash on insurance. Once it is gone, it is gone. You can’t put stop payments on it or trace it easily either. It is simply a loss for her.

So if you know you are going to get disappeared without a trial, then it seems logical to resist ICE capture by all means available. Given the high rate of gun ownership in the US, I am truly surprised we aren’t hearing about gunfights and standoffs and hero ICE people being killed by those allegedly already violence predisposed alleged gang members they are rounding up.
