Acetaminophen is not the problem that some people seem to want to make it out to be.
No, it doesn’t cause autism, but there are certainly safer painkillers. That’s why I’ll take ibuprofen or aspirin instead, if I have a choice.

I took it as an insult to autistic people.
Be prepared to do things that will get you arrested.
Such as? Or just in general?
Vote Green.
I can. This administration is run by children.
Bush is too senile (and evil) to give a shit.
Where’s the error in that argument? I didn’t come up with it, BTW. Isaac Asimov argues this in an essay in his book The Roving Mind.

I got the impression that anti-vax was always a right-left thing, because you had hippie-dippie types who thought it was “unnatural”, but you also had fundie Christian types who thought that medicine went against God.
There’s actually a fairly compelling argument that women will destroy civilization if they don’t have equal rights. They’re more likely to produce children if they aren’t finding fulfillment in other ways (e.g. having a successful career). The number of people in the US who die from acetaminophen overdose in a year is anywhere from 500 to 100,000 (!) depending upon which source I use. That’s what I got from a quick web search. While it’s odd (and suspicious) that there’s that wide of a range in the claimed mortality, the fact is that is still a lot more than the number of people who die from drinking too much water, which is so rare that it makes the news whenever it happens.
