When is her trial?
She still has to testify in front of Congress on April 14, we’ll start there.
Does she though? I could see the administration stonewalling by claiming that she no longer represents it in that capacity. I even wonder if ducking her testimony was a primary motive in doing this now.
She was subpoenaed by name, not by title, and just because she is not in the AG role anymore doesn’t mean she can’t be subpoenaed and legally compelled to appear by Congress. She absolutely still has information Congress has the authority to compel her to provide.
See Hillary and Bill Clinton just a few weeks ago, or Hillary being subpoenaed about Benghazi in 2015, long after she stopped being Secretary of State.
I would absolutely expect the GOP to withdraw (or use congressional procedure to effectively withdraw) the subpoena, however.
Yes she does, the subpoena still applies. But I wouldn’t doubt if Trump didn’t know that when he fired her.
Hoping she has an ounce of dignity and humanity and goes scorched earth on Trump et al. during the testimony
I can only assume her replacement is going to stonewall releasing the Epstein files even harder.
BUT THE DOW IS ABOVE 48K!.. Oh nevermind! 😂
She will get a bench in federal court or SCOTUS if Alito or Thomas retire in the next year.
