Well, it’s especially difficult to organize if you don’t try organizing. I’ve got a mind to start doing so myself if I don’t see anyone organizing at the next one.
That’s exactly what you need to do! What others are saying is true, it needs to be a sustained movement and not just stop at 4pm. Thankfully there were organizing tents at the protests in Denver but I was in my hometown, in West Virginia, for the No Kings protest and there was a good turnout just not the organizing.
These protests are great places to meet like minded individuals and do your own organizing if not one else will. Change will not come with once a month protests, change will come from a large movement of organized individuals. You’re the one here who is closest with the people in your area, start talking to them and making strong connections.
My impression is that 50501 aren’t actually organizing anything, but just providing a one-stop forum for actual, local groups to advertise their events. And maybe a little bit of, “hey, let’s all do something on [this] day.” If you’re not already in a local activist community, it can be hard to find them.
Point being: if you can step up, do step up, but please don’t organize a Fyre Festival.

Good luck. I guess it will take people like you to do it, because your political “leaders” aren’t doing shit.
