I’m responding to the common idea that religion is somehow a significant motivator for Zionist atrocities, not commenting on the impact of religion in general. Then I explained why I thought that was the (or at least a) point made in the parent comment.

i am merely pointing out that describing religion as destructive is pretty common, and can’t be used as evidence for interpreting the original comment in any particular way
