Yep. As an avowed atheist, I don’t care at all if people want to be Christian. It’s only when the Christian agenda impinges on politics and policy that I start to protest. And religion actually HAS influenced policy, unlike the supposed gay agenda.

Every time a straight person gives me that kind of argument, my automatic reaction is : “Bitch, don’t flatter yourself” or if I like them, I ask them if they’re afraid to be hit on or is it that they’re afraid that they’re gonna like it.

I oppose to gay marriage because I oppose the legal construct of marriage in a capitalist society.

You oppose gay marriage because you don’t like gay people.

    We are not the same.

/j (I’m not that opposed to marriage)

That’s their fantasy isn’t it? That a gay person would hit on then, but they never do (wonder why huh) and that’s why they’re so frustrated with life in general.

Not my version of gay marriage. If they’re going to take away gay marriage, I propose we institute mandatory gay marriage. Anyone registered as a Republican will be eligible for mandatory forced gay marriage. If a gay person wants to marry you, you’re getting married! Also, that will have interesting interactions if the Republicans ever try to repeal the spousal rape laws…
