Well the “straight to your front door” is a lie. You still need to send the firearm to a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer - one of those brick and mortar stores they mentioned, then you fill out the 4473 form, the dealer takes that then calls for a National Instant Criminal System (NICS) check which you can pass, fail, or get a delay while they look deeper. If you pass, you pay your transfer fee and go on your way.
It’s been years since I’ve bought anything from GrabAGun but if this dipshit is on the board I’ll never bother again.
Better to go the gun show method anyway.
It varies. I’ve found I can find cheaper prices on stuff online and the I just call a local dealer and ask what their fee is. I paid $20 last time. Now if you have any felony arrest or drug related charges you are definitely better off going to a gun show or buying from a private seller in most states. Because if you order a gun online and fail the background check in person when picking up I don’t know what happenens to the gun at that point. I’ve never tried to return one.
