Didn’t want anyone to think it was cultural misappropriation or rocking and our neighbors to north. If there ever was a truer hoser than musk I’m not sure who it is
I legitimately grew up watching SCTV and it’s one movie spinoff. Saturday night live was good back then too. But damn that SCTV cast was epic. Moranis, Thomas, Radner, Flaherty, Leve, Short, Candy and of course O’hara
I wonder if it’s a generational thing. I grew up in Ottawa in the 90s and I don’t recall ever using it. I knew the word but it just wasn’t an everyday word for my group of friends.
Oh ya, Musk is still a piece of shit.
<McKinsey brothers> Oh yah, a real hoser!</McKinsey brothers>
McKenzie?
Bob and Doug, from Second City television.

Hoser is often a term of endearment or, at least, an in-group word. We don’t claim him. He is not a hoser, he’s just an asshole.
Hey, that’s our word.
But it’s such a good word lol.

Likely generational and possibly regional. There are similar things in the US. Hell honestly it may have never been a real thing on any scale.
Ya, take off eh?
As you can see from your image, they corrected you on their name.
Heh well now that you pointed it out. Auto correct strikes again, as well as being distracted lol
How considerate of him to remove all doubt
