It’s like an entry rule for MAGAt women:

  1. Fuck up your face.
  2. See #1.

I’m not American so I hadn’t heard of Kristi Noem before the last episode. But seeing this post, they were spot on

I appreciate them going to the trouble of making their appearance better match their ghoulish personalities.

It’s fucking psychosis. Yes, they are vain. But they are also in denial. Does anyone actually think that this looks better? If I want to look the best I can, if I’m absolutely obsessed with it enough to get surgery to do so, I am staying far away from whatever the fuck this is because it just looks fucked up. It makes zero sense.

It’s oddly appropriate to see Miller dressed as a Trekkie and looking mighty unhappy about that fact. I can’t decide whether it’s because he’s cosplaying a “filthy space commie”, because he’s expected to act as a decent older role model or it’s because his resting bitch-face just is like that, but hey… It’s not like any of those explanations are mutually exclusive.

That’s the sad part. He’s probably one of those idiots crying “why did Star Trek go woke‽”…like, news flash.

          Sadly it’s not that surprising.

On a superficial level, what you have is a military vessel captained by a white human male that goes around saving the poor savage primitive and less enlightened cultures. The captain even basically does whatever he wants, and any force he uses is accepted, if not outright lauded. That’s basically everything white nationalists dream of.

And it doesn’t help that some of the aggressor cultures like the Klingons have darker skin and are shown (again, from a superficial viewpoint) as unreasonably violent with a culture that espouses it.

Remember, these are the same geniuses that think Starship Troopers wasn’t a biting parody and that Rage Against The Machine was espousing far right ideals. Media literacy and paying attention to anything more than superficial stuff is not really their forte.

I legit had a conversation with a MAGA who was telling me the Star Trek universe was awesome and we should try to do that, and when I pointed out it was literally space communism he visibly bluescreened. I wish I’d recorded it.

For a cult that is so transphobic, these figures sure all want to look like Pete Burns.

Laura was pretty before. I wonder if she regrets doing that to her face. I suppose the outside matches the inside now, though.
