The effort involves several agencies that typically have little to do with wind power, including the Health and Human Services Department.

He wants to stop billion dollar projects because he has some weird vendetta against wind power. You know how many people’s livelihoods are invested in this. Absolute asshole.

Wouldn’t it be amusing if there are more jobs in wind (+ solar) power than in coal power in 2025?

Part of the joke about coal mining is it has become highly automated. It is no longer a great source of jobs like it was and because of the automation the technical experience required is high. This means that the traditional coal miners no longer have the skill set to work in the mines.

It’s not a weird vendetta. He’s been given some money to be against solar and wind.

At least part of it goes back to his golf course in Scotland, and him not being able to get the offshore wind plant nearby shut down.

He has been given money to make believe he has a vendetta? Sorry, but that is a little too convoluted for me.

If it was just simple corruption he wouldn’t have started his anti-wind crusade before he became President when he sued the wind farm by his Scottish resort.
