For anyone who doesn’t know, the guy in the third panel is Newt Gingrich. 50th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. A man whose high moral character (ha ha) caused him to lead the charge to impeach Bill Clinton for having an affair while he himself was also having an affair.
Pond scum serves an important and useful ecological niche, which can’t be said about Newt.
