I live in a small southern college town.

We have some trans. Nobody cares.

If you tell me that you are trans I’ll say, “I don’t care”

If you tell me that you intend to undergo surgery and hormone therapy at great cost to your health and finances I’ll say, “that’s fruitloops”.

That’s actually a pretty good argument.

As lawmakers you can bring the local sherrifs to press your case.

But politics people are the worst. Dumb, reactionary and tasteless. Doing politics means hanging out with these enthusiastic potatos.
