I’m sure if they break right then those Republicans they’ve been chasing for the last 40 years will finally vote for them!

They don’t ignore it, they don’t care.

They think elites should be able to do what they want— reactionary ideology was founded as a monarchical counterrevolutionary movement, and that’s the ideal they’re working backwards to achieve.

Note that this obviously doesn’t apply to elites who aren’t aligned with their movement.

They use rhetoric to divide the opposition and to rally their base; they don’t actually care about coherence.
