Thank you. Everyone here automatically assuming it’s true, because they want it to be, as usual.
So, may well be fact, take with a grain of salt.

We won’t do shit until we are literally starving. Look right here at Lemmy, non-stop memes and stories about how what horrible economic shape we’re in. So how is everyone fat?! Meanwhile, I go to work and look at what’s for sale, at what prices, and think, “Jesus, people pay for this?!”
Even the Great Depression didn’t have us storming the White House. Think on that.
tl;dr: Americans aren’t near broke enough to band together.
Oh god no!
The three major indexes in the US sank after Trump’s comments. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the day down 1.4%, the S&P 500 sank 1.75% and the Nasdaq fell 2.6%.
Chicken change. Give the market some time to really sink. It’s coming.
Imma call one thing out; 01/06 was not predictable. Every single one of us watched in pure shock. I watched 8 hours, live, and I cannot do it again, shit left me with PTSD-light. I’ve done and seen some crazy shit in life, but not like that.
Here’s the PBS trailer:

If anyone can take it, I’d suggest a refresher course. The event was worse than even I remember, and I’m a hater from day 1.
All you can eat documentaries:
Man fuck that place. I got my all time fav sport coat there out of shit luck, never bought anything else. Even got their CC, never used.
Illegal where? I doubt that’s a federal law in the US.
We often agree, but I gotta hard disagree here.
hated Bill Clinton just as much as they hated Barack Obama
Did you watch any Fox News during either Presidency? They hated Clinton, but they went full bigfuck on Obama. Same for “man in the street” opinions. The people grumbling about Clinton went apeshit when Obama got in. I’d never seen such on outpouring of hate in American politics.
It’s too hard. Yeah, we understand the required specs, but the precision machines and rare ores are internationally monitored. Tom Clancy’s The Sum of All Fears was eye opening as to what the terrorists had to go through to make a single bomb. And it fizzled into a “normal” atom bomb.
And I’m not even talking about the experts involved, a physics degree ain’t gonna get it. The precision machining for the tooling alone is mind blowing, then you gotta fab the actual parts. Again, you’re not getting people like that in a room with a LinkedIn ad, and it would be noticed, very noticed, if you tried.
Now if you want to skip 3-stage hydrogen bombs and just roll an atom bomb, still tough, but much more doable.
tl;dr: The nuclear powers would come down on you like a ton of bricks if a country even tried starting a program. See: Iran.
Stewart’s damned fair with conservatives. Yeah, he pokes fun, but he asks questions and listens to the answers.
Way ahead of ya! :)
After I paid Metallica for their music, more than once in some cases, and then they went to war on us fans, been stealing since.
Been stealing all my media for 25+ years. Get on my level.
If y’all didn’t figure that out in the first Trump Presidency, don’t know what to tell you. The largest gun buying demographic the past many years has been black, women and LGBT.
Love how you people believe whatever lies suit your beliefs. Kinda reminds me of conservatives.

Scroll down a page or three.
Here’s a graph from that data.
Love how plain ol’ “Government” is somehow a category.
You’re not defending the GOP, you’re defending truth. I could see at a glance that this chart was utter bullshit.
Every fourth post on lemmy is the grey squirrel. Don’t be the crack spider’s bitch.
Friendly reminder that treason consists of giving aid and comfort to the enemy, not whatever heinous shit Trump does to violate the Constitution.
You can bootstrap yourself into a better life, but the grind is unrelenting and slow. You’ll almost never hit the bullseye because of time constraints working FT.
I left a high-paying job for a part-time low-paying job, now I’ve got to make more. Got lots of ideas, trying different things in my spare time.
I think OP means to say that they already have the guns. If not a single weapon crossed the border, starting today, they would still be in business for a long time. Guns don’t really get used up and parts are stupid cheap.
That’s chicken change if you make, say, $80K+. Significant if you make, say, $20K. (Thinking about individuals, not households, adjust accordingly. And COL is a huge thing depending.)
In any case, I’d take that number with a bucket of salt. Can’t see any way that number was calculated meaningfully this early in the game.
