The Right doesn’t care about facts. They believe something, which in their heads is immutable, something like “women are weaker than men”, and any facts or statistics that exist either validate this truth, or, to them, are false. Any lie that’s said is fine, because it’s in service to this immutable “truth”, because they are right and facts don’t matter in comparison to the “truth” so it’s pretty irrelevant as long as you’re fighting for the “truth”.
This is why arguing with these people with facts and statistics doesn’t work, because they can lie and dismiss whatever they want and you have to research. It can help the people on the sidelines sometimes, but that’s about it.
