Those were absolutely not the only protests in Israel, those were the only protests in Israel that got coverage and support from the government. The protests against what was happening were violently suppressed and silenced as has been happening for quite some time. Yes the large anti netanyahu protests made little mention of Palestinians rather than ceasefire deals to bring the hostages home but that is how you bring people together politically.

They have been MASSIVELY trying to stop people from voting, what the fuck are you talking about you absolute nincompoop? They keep purging voters and trying to implement new ID requirements and closing polling places and encouraging people to “poll watch” (voter intimidation).

The rationale behind the most recent articles of impeachment were unprecedented and kind of nonsense.

The reasoning is that basically every president in the last 5 decades or so has used the existing laws that generally permit presidents to use military force without first getting congressional approval. If that were unconstitutional then the laws should have been changed, but they’re allowed to stand, so it’s basically not. It’s a bit of a silly thing to try to impeach over. The precedence of that being constitutional is massive.

I have seen the way people drive if there are no consequences for driving terribly and dangerously. I assure you it cannot be fixed with just speed/red light cameras, speed bumps, and social programs. (And honestly, cameras and especially speed bumps just make the road worse for everyone)
