Edit to add that the story is plausible to me, but I don’t trust The Telegraph very much.

Melania Trump is Slovenian. Slovenia doesn’t even share a border with Russia.
Fun fact, you never have to step on Russian soil to have links to the Kremlin.

This is objectively wrong. I also don’t see any reason to suspect her of having “links to the Kremlin”, other than through her husband of course.
