I just want sober, measured, objective reporting, but apparently that’s too much to ask of almost anyone in journalism these days.

It’s not perfect, but some more news and their podcast “even more news” are good and they tend to wait to report on breaking stories until more facts come out, or at least state upfront that there is still a lot that they don’t know yet.
Lately, it’s kind of impossible to report on some of this shit without getting a little emotional. But they’re closer to tears than frothing angrily.
Yeah, that’s one of the few general news channels I actually pay attention to sometimes. Their coverage tends to leave off the vast majority of the bombast, which I appreciate a lot

The interviews can be very dry, but super informative. Most of the rest of the show is fun, if they’re not taking about incredibly sad and depressing shit, which they often are these days.
