They didn’t clap because the were ordered to come to attention. When you’re at attention you don’t move, you don’t clap, you just stand still. From the video, you can actually see that they do applaud once they’re released from attention.

I hate the DUI-hire, but let’s not cling to false narratives the way the MAGA crowd does.

Yeah but do you think the fat man or little man understand that or do they think it was an insult ?

I think someone explained it to them, but they still probably felt sad. It’s fat man and little boy though, named because they bombed so hard.

When I saw the military marching out of step in Trumps birthday parade I knew we had a chance to come out of this.

It is incredibly hard to walk out of step like that. It took concentration and willpower.

Can we start referring to him as “U.S. Secretary of War, MAJOR Hegseth”?

Keep it in people’s faces that we have a Secretary of WAR… and the person running it is a Major.

Don’t believe it for a second. Those “patriots” will go along with the entire program and not blink.

I had a friend growing up who was really proud of his Greek heritage. To him, everything Greek was good. Mostly I just agreed with him to get him to move on to other subjects. But, there was one point of disagreement we couldn’t get past. He insisted that the Greek army was fearsome, and that the Greek Presidential Guards were imposing and scary. I thought they were goofy-looking. Judge for yourself:

Greek Presidential Guard, wearing a pretty white skirt, white leggings, and shoes with black pom-poms on the toes.
