What’s hilarious is that (IMO) a lot of people hung out with Epstein because he was a kind of male socialite. He was always throwing parties, he knew all the rich and powerful people, and could introduce anybody to anybody else. He was a human LinkedIn for the top 0.0001%. AFAIK, that’s also how he made his money. He introduced people who made deals, and he’d be cut in on a tiny fraction of a big deal.

I’m sure that he kept his pedophelia quiet, and only shared it with people he could either trust, or people he could blackmail if needed. But, that was probably only a tiny fraction of his huge social circle. Most people are not pedophiles, and it stands to reason that just because someone is rich doesn’t make them suddenly become attracted to kids. Everybody who wasn’t one was probably willfully blind. They needed him for his connections, so they made excuses for him, and didn’t look too closely.

So, it’s possible that the Epstein Files contain hundreds or even thousands of people. Some are probably pedophiles, but probably not a lot of them.

What I love about this is that he pretty much exclusively hung out with the ultra-rich. So, even though only a fraction of them are probably pedophiles, they’re all people who should be the focus of public anger.

For years the rich have successfully made immigrants, gays, non-whites, women, jews, college professors, etc. the targets rather than themselves. Somehow they get Joe Sixpack to get angry that a McDonalds worker is making the same wage as him, and then get angry at that McDonalds worker rather than the owner of his company who’s massively underpaying him. Apparently it’s impossible to get through to Joe Sixpack and convince him that the rich should be his real target.

Now, thanks to stupid conspiracy theories like the QAnon Adrenochrome BS or the Pizzagate conspiracy theory Joe Sixpack is convinced that the rich and powerful are all child molesters and are kidnapping kids to harvest their blood. And, they’re convinced that the Epstein List is a list of people doing those horrible things. Finally they actually have the right target. It’s for the wrong reasons, but let’s just celebrate that finally they’re actually focusing on the rich and powerful.

I dunno man, IRS doesn’t fuck around. That’s literally how Capone went down.

In fact, tax agencies all over the world typically don’t fuck around. It’s one of the few cases where you’ll often be guilty until proved innocent.

Oh they will release it after removing Trump and planting his political opponents in it. The fact is anything they release now isn’t to be believed.

Personally, I’m holding out for the long form Epstein list.

    • I’m still waiting for the complete U.S. Senate report on CIA torture, the full 6,700 page report that was suppressed until Trump ordered it destroyed in January 2017. We hope there’s a surviving copy.

If anything short of the entire annotated Epstein casefile is not released, even if it’s lightly redacted, I greatly hope it might spark the downfall of the US federal government, the rise of a European led provisional state and the breaking (if temporary) of the states into multiple factions that don’t get back together until we fix the Constitution of the United States (Version 2) to provide equal protection and equal inclusion for all, probably the process of about eight to fifteen years. In a century the US will be the model of democracy on which new states model theirs.

Maybe it’s a system of sortition. Yes, I’m getting carried away with this fantasy.

That way it goes down in history that a bunch of aristocrats fucked around, tried to cover it up and the resulting outrage changed civilization for the better.

Ignorance only absolves you of moral culpability so long as you are not actively creating that ignorance by preventing the release or creation of any information that might challenge it. The moment you do that you become morally culpable for every single bad thing that you are actively trying not to learn abour.

True and this needs to be broken down so people understand broadly what’s going on.

They do not care that we don’t share their level of idolatry. They don’t care enough about principles and values. Have we EVER scored points for pointing out hypocrisy? Have we EVER scored a victory for being smarter and more consistent? Every time we score a victory against fascism and cults it’s because they harm themselves in some way and go too far with some trend or meme or gag until it gets them in trouble with liberals who don’t want the boat rocked.

They don’t rethink their entire framework for viewing the world when you shoot back at them that you don’t care if “your guy” is also on the epstein list. It doesn’t even register with them, it’s like if you scored a goal against the opposing team and the coach came up to you and said something non-sequitur like “Chest of kumquats, handover lugnut toe socks.”

In fact, you want to really fuck with them? Act HORRIFIED that Clinton might also get indicted. Play their stupid WWE game, but then, challenge them, dare them to get the list revealed under the guise of proving them wrong and that your precious Bill Clinton would NEVER lower himself to associating with such degeneracy. Hold back the laughter, I promise it will have a much more profound effect than acting “better” than them.

We have to start changing the game people.

Here’s an actual example, or at least one that’s close: Richard Stallman.

He’s not likely implicated personally, but Marvin Minsky (a pioneer AI researcher at MIT) is, and Stallman said some pretty terrible things in support of him. Stallman was removed as head of the FSF because of it.

Without any evidence of anything beyond saying bad things in support of Minsky, I don’t think it needs to go beyond that. But if he were fully implicated, I would 100% still support releasing the Epstein Files.

See, this is why I lean left. I’m not far left or alt left, I have some right leaning tendencies too, and I’m not gonna get into that because that’s neither here nor there, but all told I do lean left. And the reason is, generally speaking people on the left have their morals too (and it’s odd that the right says we don’t) and if someone on our side, even if we think he’s a saint (how people see Keanu Reeves, because he doesn’t play villains and they never played Cyberpunk, I guess) or maybe the best chance of beating an alt-right candidate in a high stakes election… we will bring him down, with facts. We hold ours accountable. The right? They say it’s fine for them to do bad things but for poor people? Stiff penalties because they gotta appear tough on crime… as long as it’s poor, dark skinned, or LGBTQ+ people doing the crime. If it’s them and theirs it’s fine. Never forget, they nominated and elected a convicted felon, an insurrectionist, a rioter, a traitor… and oh yes, a pedophile. They had plenty of cleaner guys they could have ran but they didn’t.

Now, there’s a rule in law, or a rule of thumb, I’m not sure if it has a name. It basically says if you destroy or hide evidence, that evidence is whatever we say it is. I don’t think it’s an actual law, it’s more of a philosophy of sorts. So everyone opposed to releasing the Epstein files, we can assume that either they are in them, or someone they owe favors to is, and it’s worse than we think. Like, I’m inclined to think maybe Trump fooled around with some 15-16 year old girls who could pass for 18-20. Lot of rich people probably do. Grass green, water wet, news at six, etc. He knows his base doesn’t judge him for the stuff we know he’s done. So what’s he afraid of?

Here’s my theory: we all know Trump is in the Epstein files. It’s a sure bet. I think that Trump doesn’t care about his name being smeared. How much worse could his reputation get now? Nah, I think the GOP has a short list of younger men (guys in their 40s and 50s, say) who could carry the torch for the next 8 years. I don’t doubt Trump would try for a third term if he had the health and youth for it. He has neither. I honestly think we need to stop worrying about his third term and start worrying about the two terms his successor is going for. Anyway, I think one or more of these successors are in the files, and they probably messed with some obviously underage and very young looking girls. Like 13 but can pass for 10, young. Underdeveloped, partly malnourished, that kind of thing. And these guys, after another 4 years of Trump, are going to come up and say they’re going to fix things. They’re going to fight hard for the middle and some of the left, but they’re going to be just as bad. And I think Trump is trying to protect these guys more so than himself.

Umm, people like Keanu Reeves because he’s been repeatedly shown to be a kind man to everyone he meets, not because he doesn’t play villains. Still don’t care if he’s in the list, it’s gotta get out, but you gotta understand these things properly.

The power of blackmail, the original purpose of the files, goes out the window if they’re released. It’s not just Trump trying to save his own skin. If all that blackmail is mass dumped the curators of that blackmail won’t have anything left to pull strings with. They can’t have that because their global power structure will collapse and they need that flow of cash, power and weapons right now more than ever. They can’t just give up multiple decades of blackmail because some American plebs are angry. They’ll sacrifice Trump at the chopping block to appease the public when they’re good and ready. Until then we can all pretty much accept it’s not happening.

Never ask a trumper why they dont want the Epstein files released,

Big bird why they never got cookie monster any help

Or, a Christian what Jesus was doing with that partially dressed young boy in the garden of gethsemane and why Peter, James and John had to keep watch for him, from a distance.

Mark 14:51, 52. The actual ancient Greek is quite clear about the practically naked young (pre-pubescent being the closest comparative term) boy. They all would’ve been conversing in ancient Greek and the earliest records of the bible are in ancient Greek.

Here’s another thing to think about. How old do you reckon the disciples were? Imagine, if you will, that our kneejerk answer comes from Renaissance era paintings and those alone and you need to aim the number significantly south of that. They were not older than Jesus.

Where did you get that idea from?

Greek was the lingua franka of the Eastern med and his first language would’ve been aramaic. So, why would he ignore his first and second languages, to speak Turkish to a Jewish and roman audience?

There exists a consensus among scholars that Jesus of Nazareth spoke the Aramaic language.[1][2] Aramaic was the common language of Roman Judaea, and was thus also spoken by Jesus’ disciples. The villages of Nazareth and Capernaum in Galilee, where he spent most of his time, were populated by Aramaic-speaking communities.[3] Jesus probably spoke the Galilean dialect, distinguishable from that which was spoken in Roman-era Jerusalem.[4] Based on the symbolic renaming or nicknaming of some of his apostles, it is also likely that Jesus or at least one of his apostles knew enough Koine Greek to converse with non-Judaeans. It is reasonable to assume that Jesus was well versed in Hebrew for religious purposes, as it is the liturgical language of Judaism.[5][6][7][8]

I mixed up Aramaic and Anatolian, my bad.

No worries, I’m sure done worse this week alone.

Yeah, Koine Greek is common Greek, at the time. In my defense, its unlikely that they would’ve called it ancient Greek back then 😁.

So, to me, it i would figure that he would’ve spoken common Greek, in the way they use English in India, back in the days of the British empire. Of course, there’s no way to be sure of that. Either way, anything approaching primary documents would’ve been in Greek, to a point where it might not even matter what language Jesus actually used.
