Millions of adults never mature mentally. There is now an entire political party of adults with the minds of children.

You can guess which party by looking for tue signs: avoids responsibility, poor emotional regulation, lack of accountability, impulsivity, difficulty to commitment, self-centered, black and white thinking, difficulty handling conflict, stagnation of personal growth.

For age, the way I put it is: the only thing you can determine for sure from a persons age is how many times the earth circled the sun since they were born. Age says nothing about maturity.

I use this quote to define an adult from a child, seems fitting with these guys:

an adult is a person who understands when it is appropriate to be childish

I have used this definition for a decade, and it has always shown to be accurate.

GOP guys are stuck in perpetual cycle of being a teenager who decide to throw out all their old toys, because they are a “man”, and “men don’t play with toys”.

They’re like 6 year olds who’re told they need to be big boys to go to school so they do it. But at night they secretly cry and want to play with their toys.

For real. You can be 90 years old with 90 years of experience and learning, or you can be 90 years old, having lived the same year over and over for the last 70 of them, like that obese orange fuck, Donny 2 Inches.

Have you ever seen those old political cartoons about the ‘upper’ classes, depicting them all as extremely (like actually round in shape) fat folks always eating at a table while others starve? The stereotypical caricature came from somewhere in reality, and my bet is that eating all you want has always been a staple of people in a pretty good position in life.

This is also observed in Korea: in North Korean culture dear leader is always round, signalling abundance, while the opposite is true in the South, where food is actually abundant.

        I don’t know about that.

Size tends too, and the stats on leaders and CEO heights kinda shows it.

But a few of these people just look like gluttons. Maybe too much time in front of a screen or just too much of the wrong kinds of food. Probably both.

And where are the 3 missing people? I mean together they weigh as much as 8 people but I don’t know anyone actually named their rolls.

Yeah. It’s like none of them have ever seen a mirror before. How tf do you get like that and actually believe you’re superior genetically?

It’s weird to expect charisma. Feels like a Hollywood intrusion.

Video killed the radio star type of thing.

In German this kind of people are called “Schreibtischtäter”, i.e. people who commit crimes while sitting at a desk.

… how are all these people built with the proportions of fantasy dwarves, but scaled up?

    … are they all midwesterners?

    EDIT:

Well shit, my apologies to the Midwest.

    Vermont.

Samuel Douglass, who is here pictured front and center with an apparently cheese -eating grin, was a state senator from Vermont.

I say was, because he just fucking resigned.

I am genuienly not even trying to rude, I am just actually baffled.

Like, I currently live in the midwest.

… Seeing a group of people like this, who all have basically the same body build and fitness level… like yes, the stocky endomorph build is stereotypically associated with Midwesterners, and I do notice somewhat more of people who look lile this here versus where I’m from, other places I’ve spent a good deal of time in.

But walking into any random public space and seeing this group of 5 people would still be very fucking odd, unless maybe they were all over 55 years old.

This would be a weird note in mental log of my day, a notably uncommon thing to encounter, with them all being under 35, and thats with me having been living in the Midwest now for 2+ years.

Y’all, we’re eagerly waiting for the president to die. Please can we not pin the hopes of this country on the eventual deaths of 25 to 35-year-olds? Can we do something a little more proactive please?

Edit: To be clear, I’m not wishing for them to survive. I just think we need a better plan.
